Whatsapp pay has launched in india, limited to 2 crore of users for now. If you are one of the people who can use whatsapp pay, here is how it works.

You need to be on the latest version of whatsapp for android or ios, and your whatsapp number should be the same number that is linked with your bank account.

To get started, open the payment tab on your phone and add your bank details.

To actually send the money, the simplest way is if the other person is also using whatsapp pay, if yes, then just open their chat and then look for payments in the attachment menu.

Next, you just need to select payments, enter the amount, add a note (optional), and then hit the send button. Finally, you will have to enter your UPI pin when prompted on the screen and you are done.

How To Get Started ?

To get started, open the payment tab on your phone and add your bank details.

Adding Your Bank Account

To actually send the money, the simplest way is if the other person is also using whatsapp pay, if yes, then just open their chat and then look for payments in the attachment menu.

To Add Your Bank Details, Just Tap On Add A Payment Method And Select Your Bank.
